Sargent Center, located in the beautiful Monadnock region of southern New
Hampshire, is a perfect setting for this year's gathering with 850 acres of
forest, lakes, streams, off site rock climbing, cabins, lodges, tent sites and
great food!
General

Hike
a trail, go kayaking, meet new people, relax, ride a bike, trust building, eat
good food, cross a river, climb a mountain, play softball, lead a workshop, let
someone else cook, bond with new friends, swim in a lake, go canoeing, bird
watch at sunset, wildflower walk, learn a skill, play basketball,
walk a nature trail, have interesting discussions, get a massage, play
volleyball, sunrise bird watching, make friends.
Adventure
Activities:
Climbing Tower**- the 35 foot, 3 sided, rock climbing tower is a challenge for
beginners through experienced climbers. You will have the opportunity to scale
the wall more than once if you choose.
High Ropes Course**-
a series of initiative
elements that are up 25 to 35 feet in the air. There is a personal challenge of
setting a goal or series of goals and then discovering how you can reach those
goals. You have yourself, fellow participants, and Sargent Center Staff as
resources on your journey. Along the way, you’ll laugh, possibly cry, show
excitements and perhaps be scared which makes this course all the more
challenging and fulfilling for a participant.
Flying
Squirrel**- This high element brings lots of joy and excitement to people
who do it. You will be put into a
full harness; on one end is a pulley, and a group of people will pull you up
20-25 feet into the air; it will
feel like you are suddenly flying through the air.
Indeed a thrill to experience this fun activity.
**
Additional charge- $20-$30 per activity for adventure activities.
To be paid at time of activity.

remarkable women that will have you mesmerized and by the end up on your

June
Millington-
Her
music has incredibly expressive vocals, dazzling guitar work and
wonderfully crafted songs, June Millington casts a spell over her
audience. Her 1993 release, Ticket to Wonderful, synthesizes a
thirty-year exploration of musical styles and sounds--which began
with folk and rock and journeyed through funk, reggae, salsa, pop
and world beat--into a work that at once moves your spirit to higher
ground and your feet to the dance floor.
She has toured with and produced albums for Cris Williamson,
Holly Near and Mary Watkins. She
co-founded the nonprofit Institute for the Musical Arts (IMA) which
has grown into an internationally known teaching, performing and
recording facility supporting women in music and music-related
business. Get prepared
to shake it up with hot high moments of rock, funk and reggae and be
stirred to the soul by beautiful ballads and love songs.
